For about 20 years, April 25th has been celebrated in various parts of the world as International Parent-Child Alienation Day. It's not a holiday, because there's nothing to celebrate. Parent-child alienation, or parental alienation, is a global problem that's still too little understood. Parent-child alienation is generally defined as a child vehemently rejecting a parent after separation/divorce for no apparent reason, unable to provide a comprehensible explanation. It occurs primarily when the parents' separation is highly conflictual and the couple's disputes affect parental duties.
Becoming a father, beyond the initial physical act, is a challenging and unexplored journey. Your limits, strength, and patience are put to the test, but it's also a tremendous and unique experience of personal growth. For several decades now, we've witnessed a revolutionary change
Inspired by the "Enough Tears" awareness campaign, we're planning a study afternoon in early March. The goal is to introduce, with your help and as quickly as possible, all the best practices possible without legislative changes for the management of separations and divorces by authorities, advocates, and support services.
